Started at 8am. Nice trench pretty much all the way to GRT with a couple of exceptions just below the junction in the trees. Snow was soft and mushy making for a little bit additional effort but overall any easy hike in snowshoes, which I wore all the way up and down. Windy and some clouds at summit but sun broke through with spectacular views. Passed several teens on my way down all barebooting and leaving lots of postholes which won't be nice when frozen. Full and overflowing lot at 2pm. |
