Comments
Comments: This 14 mile hike was quite a beast today! But we loved the blue skies and windy summit, and the absence of rain and snow showers predicted. Because of the high temps, the snow was sticky and soft, but we managed a good time and had no snow balling under our snowshoes. We wore snowshoes door to door, as did most of the other 14 hikers we met along the way. Two bare booters tried their darndest to post hole the trail as much as possible, but snowshoers won the day. The trail is beautiful and hopefully will freeze overnight and into tomorrow. Hope the lovely guys we met on the trail have a great night camping out and don't freeze!
