I parked at Livermore South trailhead, it was a peaceful walk and worth the extra 1.7ish miles to the hike.
The Waterville parking lot was a bit of a zoo. Some cars that were parked illegally were getting tickets as I walked through. |

Spikes only were needed today. I carried my shoes expecting softer snow, but the trail was packed down and not slushy. There were a lot of sledders today smoothing out the hills and having a blast. |
