| Water Crossing Notes: |
The lower major crossing on the Unknown Pond trail is doable but during a rain right now it would be very difficult not to get wet feet. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Several significant blowdowns between the Mt. Cabot Cabin and the Cabot summit and The Bulge. Parts of the Unknown Pond trail are almost completely grown over. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Plenty of water over the entire trail. An easy hike for dogs except perhaps for the final scramble up the rocks on the Horn. |

Not an issue today |

| Comments: |
Except for meeting some folks at the cabin and on top of The Horn we had the trail entirely to ourselves today. This is a beautiful in the woods hike. It would be very nice in the fall when the leaves are changing. |
