Comments
Comments: Went up Pine Bend Brooke today, started out with snowshoes and wore them all the way to Middle Tripyramid. Trail was mostly packed out with some drifting towards the summits, the heel lifts came in handy during the steep sections. saw no one up until we were returning from Middle where we encountered a few groups, some with snowshoes some without. We decided to throw on micro spikes for the descent, as going down the steeps in snowshoes didn’t seem too inviting. The trail was more packed out than on our way up and the biggest issue was sliding around not sinking. Butt sledding was awesome though!
