Coop loved the hike and even met another Cooper rottie / pit bull mix sporting a lovely quilted coat. Cole and Max had fun, as well.

Comments
Comments: Everyone traveling before us did a great job providing us with a nicely packed trail. We used snowshoes the whole day just to pack the trail further and take advantage of the televators. Lower sections and road walk could have been barebooted, but traction was a definite plus for the steep section of the Garfield ridge trail to the summit. Winds were increasing in strength, so time on the summit was limited to a short excursion to take in the views before dropping back below tree-line. One small section of the trail was drifted near Garfield pond as noted in a report from a few days ago, but it was easy to pick up the trail on either side.
