| Comments: |
Lincoln woods trail was soft packed powder, softer after Osseo cutoff, where most of us donned snow shoes. Black pond bushwhack was a bit softer. Everyone needed snowshoes on Brutus bushwhack, and even then, the snow was not reliably stable. Lot of climb, slide, climb. Then it warmed up and made the snow sticky, which was awful. Summit was soft packed snow, lovely. Cooler temps on descent made it a bit better, but still a lot of snow slippage. |
