| Comments: |
While the trails down low (Lonesome Lake, Pemi Trail), were generally in good shape, the trails up Cannon are an embarassment to the state park system. Unmitigated erosion, missing signs (including the remains of a temporary paper sign at the Dodge Cutoff junction that's been there for years, barely held in place by pushpins), large mudbogs, herd paths all over the place, and very brushy corridors (quite a few areas of 6" wide airway on Hi-Cannon). |
