Trail is nicely packed but the warm temps were definitely softening things up. Plenty of postholing along the final stretch to the summit due to drifting. Made it fine with spikes today but I was up there early in the day when the temps were still below freezing. If I were to go in the afternoon and/or tomorrow after today's temps I'd bring the shoes. |
