| Comments: |
The trails are in great shape but snowshoes are still needed to pack it down more. Snow is still soft and unconsolidated so our group kept on our snowshoes all day. Hiked the loop clockwise - north to south. Tried some butt sliding down south, snow was deep and soft so it was not easy to gain any speed but will be improving as it gets more traffic. An amazing winter hiking day on the Hancocks. |
