Comments
Comments: The trail was in bad condition; it looked like I was the first to use snowshoes since the recent snowfall. It is barely wide enough to walk it with snowshoes, and it is heavily post-holed. The trail is still soft, slippery, needs widening.
Ladders are mainly covered with snow; I barely found the first one after digging around. Snow is still covering most of the ladders; steps are not visible and hard to use. I switched to spikes just for the ladder and the icy section before it.
The trail was fairly used (with boots) before the ladders, but it gets significantly worse as you progress. I broke the trail a little more after the ladders but didn't reach the summit. Waist deep heavy snow on the top.
Neither the Kedron-Flume trail nor the Ethan Pond section is broken in.
