Comments
Comments: Walked on groomed snomoed road, passing 2 groomed snomo jcts, 1.5 mile to groomed trail jct - aka FR446. Turned on this trail to next snomo jct. Took right trail marked Eagle Cliff. Followed this to 1600' elevation(2.5 mile from vehicle) SE of summit. Started bw up boulder strewn slope in wide open hardwoods in deeper snow than yet encountered this season. Reached cliff band at E end of summit plateau soon finding a good way through. Followed bumpy ridge in open softwoods to recognized summit. Followed track back to snomo trail.
Followed snomo trail S, immediately crossing bridge. Followed trail a short while before bw in straight line to recognized summit in wide open hardwoods. Followed route back to vehicle. Unfortunately, no views due to low clouds.
Breaking effort on bw - moderate - in 6-12" powder on supportive base
Grades - mostly easy, some moderate
Woods - wide open hardwoods, very little open softwoods
