Comments
Comments: Welp it was a day for a less exposed trail for sure. I knew a crew had hit this trail on Saturday and they did a great job! We had barebooted a little with the nice pack but when it got softer we rode snowshoes the rest of the way and all the way to the lot. There were some drifts in places but once we hit where garfield pond heads out, the trail disappeared. We broke through that area and it lasted not for long. The rest was a highway to the summit. Sadly no views once we made it to the summit and the wind was telling us to get off it’s mountain with some snow flung in our faces. Downhill went by and the sun came out but that was short lived. Our tracks started to get blown in, in some spots. Once back to the road some snowmobilers passed us and then we headed out for more of the “road walk”.
