| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The shoulder on the northbound side of Rt 16 is nicely plowed near the northern trailhead and is wide enough to allow for safe parking for about half a dozen or so vehicles. Needed to climb over large snowbank to get to the trail. No cars at 10:15am. One car at 3:15pm. |

Three 10"+ hardwood trees leaning over the trail. Looks like they've been there a while and are easy to duck under. |

| Comments: |
The northern Imp trail was soft, dry & powdery and was broken by one someone who snowshoed yesterday...thank you! I used snow shoes the entire way, as did 3 others after me. The snow may now be consolidated enough for micro spikes but leave your crampons in the car. I had planned to make the loop but the trail after the ledges was unbroken so I returned the same way I came up. I suspect that the southern Imp trail is unbroken. The southern trailhead was unplowed and I didn't see any footprints in the snowbank. |
