| Comments: |
Cascade-Basin is fine for barebooting, but I put on snowshoes for the Cascade Brook trail up to Fishin' Jimmy. Snowshoes not needed on Fishin' Jimmy nor on Mt. Kinsman as you approach the peak. Barebooters were doing fine on Fishin' Jimmy and Mt. Kinsman Ridge. One snowshoe goon was harassing people for not wearing snowshoes, but if he wants a perfectly groomed trail, maybe he should stick to x-country trails. It's winter, people are going to posthole. |
