-2 at start no wind in trees. Snowshoes car to car, unfortunately I was in the minority. Thank to those who broke this out yesterday. Nice trail starting but getting chopped up, lots of powder. Icey final to top. My MSRs were fine, Little windy on top, no place to hide. Great views with Washington in full sun. Started for Webster but not really broken out. I bailed as did 2 shortly after. 4 others heading over, not sure if they made it. Met a group from Pemi Valley SAR on a training hike, big thanks to all SAR volunteers!!!Lots if folks out, most not in shoes. Bright cold beautiful day to be out! Please wear snowshoes to pack all trails down. It really is a lot easier especially with televators! |
