Comments
Comments: Saw only five other hikers…3 with snowshoes and 2 without. We were first on the trail this morning and worked hard to fix the barebooter damage from yesterday. It was looking great as we headed down. Met the only other summitter as he was coming up Brutus. He warned us that two barebooters were behind him. We enjoyed the super smooth trail until after the water crossing on Lincoln Brook…shortly after, I could see where they gave up and turned around. It was a bit of a mess. We caught up to them at Black Pond and passed them. Hopefully between us and the other hiker, most of their damage has been covered.
