Comments
Comments: I broke out Wonalancet Range, Shortcut out and back, and Walden from the junction to Old Mast, and about 0.3 miles down Old Mast until 2(?) skiiers had turned around and rode back down. Lots of powder, 1+ ft above 2000 ft and 2+ ft above 2500 ft. I did snowshoe on the ski track because it seemed like the skiiers weren't too worried about keeping the track nice on their ride down. My tracks were still the only tracks going up to Wonalancet on my return. Beautiful views from the ledge going up Wonalancet, the spur on Hibbard, and the spur on Wonalancet Hedgehog. Walden trail to Passaconaway from Wonalancet Hedgehog, Square Ledge trail, and Lawrence trail have not been broken out. Seems like most people XC skiied or hiked Whiteface/Passaconaway today.
