We picked up Carrigain on a Saturday night hike. Trail was packed out to the split (Carrigain vs Vose Spur). From there, much less consolidated snow. We broke out the little cutoff to Carrigain from the split. Two snowshoers had made their way up past there and had stopped for the night about 3/4 of a mile from the summit (THANK YOU for all your hard work breaking out the trail!!). We broke out the final bit to the summit. On our way back down, a lot had already blown back over. Definitely need snowshoes for this one! |
