| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Only cleaned debris, not sediment, from water bars up to first log bridge, about a mile up trail. Removed a few small blow downs. One large conifer blow down just below bridge easy to step over. Heard reports of 3-4 addtional blow downs above but was told that they were not too obstructive. |

| Comments: |
Will remove remaining blow downs and clean sediment and leaves from all 200+ water bars later this fall. The 80 water bars on the first mile of trail really worked in some obviously peak sheet wash conditions from Tropical Storm Irene without any appreciable gullying, thanks to the DOC Trail Crew's hard efforts about five years ago. |
