LW not plowed upon arrival or departure. Cars were getting stick in the parking lot. Lots of ice under the snow. Had to pull one guy out with our tow strap. |

Arrived to an almost empty lot at 645 am except for one other car. Turns out “MTNBOY†and his buddy were also headed to owl. Awesome….reinforcements. Jim Jorgensen and I set out for the days work. Chivalry is not dead folks because he was armed and ready for battle yet again with his 30†destroyers. Except for maybe 1/2 mile on black pond he wouldn’t even let me get a turn up front. He and I set the course for a beautiful track to the summit. Unfortunately MTNBOY was really potholio in disguise and our beautiful track was quickly turned to shit. This is why we can’t have nice things. If you head out, be sure to bring your shoes. The snow is deep and the route is in desperate need of repair. |
