We actually had numerous bites from what must be a remnant black fly population on the floor of the ravine - at the base of the Subway. I hadn't seen any blackflies for at least three weeks until yesterday. DEET chased them away. |

| Comments: |
Trails in King Ravine and the Valley Way show some erosion from Irene, but nothing too hard to manage. Rocks were wet, which made the footing in King Ravine rather challenging in some places. |
