This trail is in need of some snowshoe love. I barebooted to Blueberry Ledge cutoff but wore snowshoes the rest of the hike (except one steep area where I could not get footing). Good snow pack but top of trail is pretty loose in most spots. Two of what I am calling three steep areas proved a challenge for a solo short hiker. Persistence paid off. I would love to place a camera to see how others get themselves up over the rock faces. I came back down the same trail and turned over on my stomach and let myself hang from tree/root before dropping down to ground. |
