If you weigh more than 20 lbs, YOU NEED SNOWSHOES for Hale Brook Trail. My 24 lb dog post-holed the entire trail so anyone heavier than that will do the same, just deeper! Fortunately she walks ahead of me so I packed down her post holes with my snowshoes.
The trail is super soft beginning to end and had knee high to thigh high drifts in places. |
