Trails were well packed. Started out with snowshoes but switched over to mirco spikes for the duration. Saw several hikers with snowshoes. Will likely need snowshoes after Saturdays storm. Stayed on Rocky Branch and took the established BW that cuts off the corner to the Isolation trail. The ISO Express passes through a nice stand of woods and was not too difficult. Isolation Trail beyond the ISO Express had one set of boot prints as did the David Path heading North. |
