19 MBT PL about half full upon arrival at 9:15. Also spotted a car at the ski area. |

Entire route is now nicely packed out, with Joe and I, along with the three ladies ahead of us (who did an out and back from 19MBT PL), all wearing snowshoes car-to-car. And No post-holing or chop at all. After tagging D we doubled back to the bypass bushwhack, which was roughly broken out, and is now pretty well packed out too. Very little ice the entire way, so all but two short, steep spots were doable without resorting to a minimal amount of butt sliding--and these spots were between A and D, not going up A. |
