Comments
Comments: Snowshoes were used the whole way today. Snow overnight left 2" of powder on the trails down low and 4" of powder on the trails towards the summit with more falling as I got back to the car. As you can imagine, I spent most of the day knocking snow off the pine boughs that overhang the trail. I avoided the Engine Hill Bushwhack in favor for the bushwhack that cuts the corner between Rocky Branch and Isolation Trail. The Iso Express Bushwhack is well packed and easy to follow. Isolation Trail north of the Iso Express turn looks to be reasonably packed for a little while but the Davis Trail north of where Iso Express joins only shows the postholes of one person - I'd highly advise using the Iso Express bushwhack at this time.
