Comments
Comments: We got a late start, arrived to the trailhead around 11am and there were no other cars in the lot. Even though there was some light snow last night, we still started in our Hillsound trail crampons based on the report from yesterday. We never changed into snowshoes. There is still a nice snow pack under the new snow and we were not post holing. I am not sure if micros would be enough, especially at the higher elevation on the slabs with ice under a thin dusting of snow. Perhaps they would be, but I was happy to have been in the trail crampons. We did not see anybody else out there today. Gorgeous day and amazing views!
