Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: all water crossings, including the larger ones on kinsman pond trail, were fine.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: trails showed no real ill effects from the recent weather. there is one hanging tree on kinsman pond trail with a couple branches in trail, but being that it is broken off about 20 feet up and barely holding on we walked on by. i figure nature will eventually bring it down where it can be safely taken out. cleared a couple blowdowns on cascade brook trail, but the rest of this route was blowdown free.

Comments
Comments: trails all in good shape. some mud, with plenty of wet and slippery rocks.
nice hike. decidedly humid today with occasional views, but the rain held off nicely. first time on those sections of kinsman pond and cascade brook trails. really pretty area especially coming down from the pond though there is some interesting footing in spots. thanks to cynthia for a great day.
