Comments
Comments: The only water crossing was bridged nicely and wheelchair accessible all the way to the A_Z trail junction. Continuing up the now steep Avalon trail, conditions went out the window. It was a mix of somewhat consolidated powder and completely unconsolidated and torn up by boots, with patches of ice here and there. This continued off and on all the way to Mount Field. Even the more firm areas, were kind of soft.
Once to Mount Field for my 7th time, the Willey Range trail started out nicely packed, but this didn't last long, so it was more of the same all the way to Mount Willey.
