One spruce crown blocking the trail just above the junction with spur to the Cog, the path goes around currently.
A double blow down just above that which is a double climb over. |

Great day above tree line. Light winds and warm temps (for January).
Snow covered the rocks, and heel lifts on the snowshoes made for a easier climb up from Gem Pool.
We used crampons on the way down Ammonoosuc Ravine, and appreciated the choice. |
