Comments: Brisk start at 9:30 just below zero, we put on the snowshoes at the start and kept them on for the duration. The trail was very soft and the best choice was to wear snowshoes. We got to the height of land on engine hill and we’re the first 4 to bushwack through . Our track is kind of a mess as we were following some old gps tracks while busting through some knee deep snow. I don’t recommend taking the engine hill wack. We met Kyle as we stepped onto isolation west and he told us that the Iso express wack was busted out beautifully. This was the route to take. He also posted a trip report here and I agree with him about staying on the main route instead of using engine hill. Nice to see the small .2 mile wack busted out to avoid the last 2 water crossings. It definitely saved time. Put on the snowshoes and go for it before another dumping.
