Comments
Comments: We did not encounter anyone at all on the Basin-Cascades Trail, Cascade Brook Trail, or Kinsman Pond Trail until we reached the shelter at the northern end of Kinsman Pond, but then we saw several groups above Kinsman Junction, once the path coincides with the other common routes to the Kinsmans. We could see that several previous people on the Basin-Cascades Trail, Cascade Brook Trail, and Kinsman Pond Trail had torn up the trails with microspikes all the way up, but the snow depth calls for snowshoes - the rocks are covered and the streams are bridged along the entire route.
