| Comments: |
The road walk is groomed for snowmobiles so it often feels almost like walking on a sandy beach.
The Sawyer Ridge Trail is broken and nicely consolidated with almost no ice at all. Despite there being no drifts to speak of, you should wear your snowshoes to prevent postholes (some postholes are already there). About 75% of the hikers we saw wore their snowshoes today. |
