Comments
Comments: Snowshoes start to finish. -20F at start. Rocky Branch was decently packed but not enough that snowshoes weren't helpful. Didn't seen any tracks for usual EH bushwhack so stayed on RB. The track cut the corner to the Iso trail at ~2900ft. A lot of traffic turned left at Iso Express, but seemed Iso trail seemed packed as well. 100 yds later it appears everyone turned around and went back and hit the Iso Express as the trail was untracked. Figured I'd stay with the original plan and break trail on Isolation Trail up to Davis Path. Davis Path wasn't tracked either other than a lot of rabbits who are terrible at following trails apparently. In retrospect, should have taken Iso Express up. Climb up Isolation spur was easy in snowshoes. Flat calm at the summit, (so quiet) possibly warmest I felt all day. Took Iso Express down. Very easy to follow and a good route. River crossings were not an issue. When I got to Isolation trail, nobody else had followed my tracks up to Davis, so still super soft. Met some folks coming out of EH so followed their track. Went a bit high, probably would have been quicker to must stay on Isolation trail to the short whack across to RB I took on the way up.

I'd definitely recommend Iso Express up and down. Nothing super steep.
