Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: I'm being told there were water crossings. :D Yes, there were water crossings. Thinking back, I could identify one or two of them. Almost every single one of them was so covered with snow and ice that it was impossible to identify them if they didn't make a water-gurgling noise. The one or two where I could actually see liquid water weren't even half-step wonders.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: It's always refreshing to see a trail in great shape, such as on this outing. Minimal fallen trees, none so great that they required more than a step over, and even there, that was only one or two blow-downs.

Comments
Comments: I was the only one (near as I could tell) on the mountain today. The trail is in great shape in general, although at some recent point, someone post-holed their way up the mountain to the hut, and then seems to have turned off to Galehead peak. But along the way... things aren't quite as nice as you'd want. If you wear snowshoes, you'll be OK for the most part.
