Crawford Path to Pierce is a well packed monorail. Until it gets warm or more snow comes, bareboot and some spikes for traction will do it! Route to Eisenhower is a bit slower. Knee deep drifts in the trees. Very passable, but you can't jog this section unless it gets stomped down.
Absolutely brilliant day above treeline, 100 mile views! Much nicer than forecasted, barely any breeze and hiked in just a baselayer all day. |
