Comments
Comments: Thank you to Postal Patty for breaking out this trail! I cannot even imagine how exhausting that must have been!!
Livermore Trail is groomed (please remeber to wear snowshoes or use skis!!) for the first 2.2 miles. From there it was a mix of ski tracks, snowshoe tracks and bare boot postholes. Happily the bare booters all stopped at the South Slide. The skiers all stopped at the North Slide. The prior snowshoe tracks were a bit drifted over after that, but soooooo amazing to have!!
Once on Pine Bend, the track was nicely laid as there were others up from the Kanc earlier this week.
One other snowshoer on the Scaur Ridge route today - Ed Hawkins!! (Thank you for the M&Ms!!).
