Comments
Comments: Day 76, Peak 66. 2nd hike of the day after Osgood Hill. Started at a 2:45pm with temps in the low single digits and still windy though decreasing in speed.

I walked the road north to the start of Limerick Rd, walked that at flat/easy grades to the loop jct. I took the right/northern end of the loop to where it hits the northeast ridge of Hodgeman Hill and found the cairn that others have spoke of. I could see a footpath and began following it but almost immediately lost it and just bushwhacked through open woods to the peak. Lots of deer signs. I signed in and returned in my tracks, taking the other half of the road’s loop down just in case I ever start redlining all the roads in NH.

I wore microspikes the entire time though I didn’t think there was any ice or that they were at all needed. Snow depth was only a few inches. 289 more days and 299 more peaks to go…
