| Lost and Found: |
We saw a red hat that someone had hung on a tree branch. I think it was along the Webster Cliff Trail between Mt. Jackson and Mt. Webster, but it might have been along the Webster branch of the Webster-Jackson Trail (I can't remember for sure - sorry). |

| Comments: |
We used only microspikes since the whole trail was well packed snow. There were a few patches of ice, some with a little slush, but easy to traverse with microspikes. We had been worried about whether we would need crampons for the Jackson summit cone, but even there there was a path of packed snow up to the summit, and for descending we could butt-slide down the Webster Cliff Trail. Snowshoes are recommended only because the winter storm on January 17 will drop a lot of fresh snow on the trails. |
