Terrific afternoon. Did out-and-back to Pack and North Pack - about 8 miles RT and just under 2K' elev gain. Trails were slightly crusty snow over an ice base so never any need for traction or snowshoes - could be run if I had trail runners. Would have been a good day to run the Wapack Trail - excellent footing in most spots and very easy to move quickly. Really infinite views - I could actually see Boston!!!! YAY!!!! Good way to spend one of my last Covid Isolation Days!!!! |
