Firm packed surface perfect for microspikes. When we hit the first ledgy area the ice flows showed up, but easily navigated in both directions. Multiple ice flows from that point on, intermittently, until just before the sharp right below the summit. Sharp spikes recommended, not your old rock spikes! If we get the big snow on Monday the ice should be well-covered, just please use snowshoes. |
