Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: All roads in are fine. No signs of hurricane damage that I could see. Plenty of parking at the AMC hut early - I was there at sunrise. At midday it was packed.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: streams were surprisingly low, no problems. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: only 2 small blowdowns on Mowglis trail, just before the shelter. Mud was minor and no trouble. No significant washouts.

Bugs
Bugs: Never saw bug 1 all day. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Part way up Holt there is a ballcap hanging on a branch. Says "habitat for humanities". 
 
Comments
Comments: The Holt ledges were dry. Very thick haze allowed limited views from the summit, even with a brisk sustained wind. Not a single person seen through the entire loop. Beaver dams on Back 80 trail have been opened and drained by someone, but new ones are active further downstream.
