Ascended Falling Waters, which I think I preferred since the snow over on Old Bridal on the descent was really chopped up. Climb up was nice. Hot down at the trail head, so wore minimal clothing heading up. Snow, wind, and minimal visibility up on Haystack and along the ridge. Wind was really ripping on the way down to the hut from Lafayette. Very enjoyable hike regardless of the lack of views. |
