Comments: Trail was generally hardpack with occasional patches of ice. I don't think I would have been able to get down without Microspikes. The summit ledges, on the other hand, are a glazed donut and aren't safely accessible without sharp Microspikes.

Much less foot traffic on the secondary trails; would recommend snowshoes. Crust on top of at least half a foot of snowpack.

Squam Lake looks fully frozen from this vantage point.

Warmer sunrise than yesterday with temperatures at or just above zero.
