Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Needs more blazing...blazes are faint. There are a number of blowdowns after the Greeley Ledges trail junction. Upon reaching the western shoulder, there is one chain saw sized blowdown [duck under] followed by a minor one. On the descent from the lower lookout one recent blowdown where hikers are going around. There are other blowdowns...step overs or go arounds after crossing the xc ski trail under development. There is a major blowdown at the 90 degree turn so that turn can easily be missed.

Comments
Comments: What a fun loop! From the parking area, I walked up the ski slope to the official start. The trail is well broken throughout however after the Greeley Ledges Trail junction to the outlook the trail is a bit awkward with breakable crust on top of frozen granular with lots of divots so there is a risk of ankle rolling. I got by with spikes. Thankfully there were tracks because after the trail junction there are faint yellow blazes and even those were few at that, that would have made route finding challenging. Understandably due to Mr. Polar Vortex, saw nobody hiking today.
