Comments
Comments: despite forecast, we did not have any precipitation. clouds closed in around summit, and wind was a buffering, blustery 10-40 (estimate-forget Kestrel); temp 20's. nevertheless, we had a fine time experiencing some 'dynamic' conditions. below tree line most of trails were crusty ice/snow with intermittent ice on sloped areas; traction whether micros or walking crampons highly advised. around summit, more bare rock, so you could bare boot or stay with microspikes.
despite iffy forecast, we had a fine day with 'alternative' weather.
