Comments
Comments: NordicGal posted a report for our hike to Rogers. I continued south on KRT. The toughest breaking was getting up from the Rogers/UPP col. Snow was wet and sticky with some drifting and no evidence of recent use. At a likely place, I cut off the KRT and headed for UPP. At the pond, I was glad to find a well packed base under a very small amount of new snow. I chose to bushwhack straight up the north ridge of the Horn, saving distance but adding breaking.
