Parking/Access Road Notes: Trail head lot was mostly packed down from traffic, but there is ice under snow on the road up the hill. Also, as noted in previous posts, the road up is a bit bumpy & pot holed, but OK if moving pretty slow even for low cars, like mine.

Comments
Comments: This was the place to be today!!! Lot was filling fast on our late 10:30 arrival. Around 20 cars, and at least 4 more right behind us. Trails were well packed and fast, but one could tell there was ice right under the thinly packed trail. Good set of spikes were the traction of the day. Snowshoes not needed, plus the cover is still thin with occasional rocks near the surface to trick up footing.

Seems like everyone was enjoying the summits and views at the same time, probably due to the fantastic conditions. Spectacular blue skies and low winds, although a bit chilly. Must have seen 40 people on the trail today.
