Since the area is not yet open, I snowshoed up the side of the ski area, hopped on the (not yet open) snowmobile trail, then bushwhacked in open woods to the viewless summit. Ski trail was the worst of it, as people had barebooted up when the snow was soft last week, leaving a mess of postholes. About 6-8" of snowpack in the woods with only about an inch of powder from the storm.
